Topix

For those of you who have seen the website, you know how rude people tend to be on here. I didn't realize how rude people were until a friend of my alerted me to the fact that they were saying things about me posting pictures of my Eli on my FB. The link below goes to the thread in which they talk about my baby. How dare people call pictures of my son disgusting, disturbing and say they will haunt them forever b/c of the discoloration of his skin: THEY ARE INFANT BRUISES!!!

Some people are just low-lifes and things like this shouldn't  be tolerated.

  1. Amber - I am incredibly sorry people have responded to your pictures this way. These pictures are the tangible way you have to show the world your precious Eli. You have to do what is best for you. Unfortunately, in this journey, people's true colors come out.

Wishing you a little peace and comfort, and sending you many hugs.

  3. Amber, I am so sorry you had to endure such heartless mistreatment. It's sad that people's first reaction is disgust and disturbance, when it should be sadness and concern that such a terrible tragic thing happened to your family and to your sweet baby boy. They claimed you were disrespecting your son by posting his photo... but they were disrespectful by saying such wretched things. When I look at Eli's picture, I see a gorgeous, precious little baby boy and my heart goes out to you. My daughter was born asleep in March so I know that pain as well. It's unfortunate that it seems the only compassion comes from those who walk in the same shoes. We have already lost a lifetime of memories and photos of those memories... Now we lose the right to share our babies too? It's not fair. If it bothers them so much, they don't have to look. It's not that hard.
I hope that these people haven't rented too much space in your mind and that they haven't caused you too much pain. I know you're going through enough! Please know you're in my thoughts and in my prayers. Eli is beautiful and you should never have to feel ashamed or censored. Love and hugs to you. <3

  4. Stopping by from Kaliana's blog to say how incredibly sorry I am for how some people have reacted to your pictures. I too posted pictures of my daughter on fb and frankly if people don't like it they don't have to look. If they had suffered the loss of their baby I'm sure they would feel differently. They should feel ashamed at their heartless judgmental reaction to your loss!
